it took my quite some time to write a post yesterday and blogger decided to be a jerk and tell me that they couldnt publish it.. so yes, there was supposed to be a post yesterday..
i'll try to recall what i wrote..
okay, it was in response to daphne's blog after she read mine..

so yes, daphne's right, that love scars all the time.. but isnt it nice knowing that no matter how badly you've been hurt, you'll someday, get back on the track of the love train and start blowing the horns? sure it takes some time but hey, girlfriends sure know how to make them pass really fast..

they are the ones to get you back on track, help you spot eye-candy and tease you.. they are the ones to make you feel like you're on top of the world, to make you feel like you're the prettiest girl on earth (besides them of course)..

girlfriends tell you the truth, they tell you this guy sucks and that you shouldnt even be bothered about him. but when you do get involved and get your heart broken by that jerk, they are the ones who will be there for you.. to take time off their busy schedules and listen to you go and on about that jerk, to be your listening ear and a shoulder to cry on.. no, they wont go
"ooh, i told you so"
although i think they might secretly think about saying that but they wont..

these are the ones who will be there for you despite all that you're going through.. and dont get me wrong when your girlfriends arent there for you physically, it doesnt mean that they dont care or that you're not on their minds..
take daphne for example.. when i had my operation, she was in australia.. but, she called to ask about me.. see? she wasnt there for me physically but she cares..
then minn, close to her examination period, she wrote me a postcard, telling me to take care and other personal stuff..
it doesnt need a physical touch to know that people care for you..
i think we can apply this to our relationships dont we? that long-distance relationships can last too this way?
hmm, i think so..

so, love scars.. and like what daphne said, i agree that whoever has not had their hearts broken isnt lucky because that person hasnt gotten to know one of life's beauty..
it's normally through the hard time that we come to know who will really be there for us..
which leads to the girlfriends thing which i have already written about.. so yes, we will heal, just let time do it's work..
okay, that was a little cliched to say that time will heal but sometimes, time will heal, sometimes, time wont.. but if time doesnt heal, it will still help.. maybe the pain wont be that bad but it will be better.. it definitely will be..
as a Christian, i believe that everything happens for a reason..
for me, the things that happen to me can always mean a couple of things like

- God is testing me
- God is drawing me closer to Him
- being a testimony to His grace and mercy

and stuff like that.. i dont know how the other religions see the good and bad things as but these are my beliefs.. sometimes, it feels a little difficult to get by, not knowing the purpose of the things i'm going through but i guess, time will tell, again.. haha..
the good thing about living a rather long life is that when you look back, you tend to see the reason why such things happen to you.. i think we'll cover this another time.. haha.. i havent been in deep thoughts these few days because i'm just bumming out in front of the telly and i'm getting fatter.. haha!!!
