alrights.. updates from yesterday..
had school, then the test paper which was pretty rough but i think i might do just fine.. initailly had plans to go to IMM after the paper with shuwei.. but the guys psycho-ed us to go orchard for dinner together.. enshao wanted to go toysrus to get a flower.. he wouldnt say it's for who but we guessed it's for a girl.. he blushed when we said
"ai yah! for girl la.. sure one"
haha!!! ohman.. what a funny thing.. haha..
so we had dinner at longjohnsilver and then frances went off to meet her friends.. after which, the girls, namely shuwei and i, and the guys, namely, enshao, niam, darren, eugene and sengwai, went our separate ways.. shuwei and i wanted to shop.. went into watsons and got some supplies.. then walked around.. saw the oc season 3 and i couldnt rent it because i've still got school this week.. think i'll try to get it after my malaysia trip.. hopefully it's still available for renting.. i want to watch it so badly..

well, we continued walking around then went into novo.. saw nice shoes.. and i want them.. I WANT!!!
going back tomorrow to get them, just hopefully, they still have them..

so yes, life has been pretty good with the people i hang out with in class.. i can say, i've been blest in life despite some of the hurdles i've been through.. i can tell you too, that i am beautiful, though not on the outside, but on the inside.. maybe not ENTIRELY beautiful but yes, beautiful to a certain extent..
know something? i think, that despite people saying
"everyone's beautiful"
i kind of object to that.. i mean if you take it literally, it means that we are all beautiful, but on the outside.. and why i disgree? because there are people like those miss universe and supermodels who are way~ more beautiful then us and how then, can we compare to them? you stand beside them and all you feel is plain simple insecurities.. you feel small, ugly and disgusting.. wouldnt you agree? how then could they continue to say that we are all beautiful?
so, here's what i'd have to say..
maybe we arent all that beautiful on the outside, but it can be replaced by the beauty that's on the inside!
so we have this horrible face like quasimodo from the hunchback of notredam and yet, have a beautiful heart on the inside, full of love for others.. and also, some of them may be pretty on the outside, yet have a heart that is full of hate and anger and 'black' stuff..
then again, we arent perfect.. we cant possibly be entirely beautiful on the inside and entirely horrible too.. still, i know that God is fair and for some of the things we lack, He reimbursed us in other ways, that we may be compared to those who are well, maybe, in a sense, better than we are. i mean, how can a perfect God, create something ugly? so in a sense too, we are all beautiful..
