know something? i forgot to mention something really important!!!
yesterday, i made someone's day!

see, on the way from bugis to novena, buddy and i took the train.. when i stepped in, i saw this pregnant lady standing, leaning against the wall and no one bothered to offer her a seat.. after awhile, my heart begun to race quite fast..
by the way, this always happens when i'm contemplating if i should do something about something i see.. so i told the buddy if i should ask someone to give up their seat for her.. the buddy said we shouldnt bother much..
so i didnt bother for awhile and the nagging feeling and the heartbeat got faster.. so i reached over and asked the lady if she needed a place to sit.. she looked around and then told me that it's ok and that it was very normal then she looked back at her pda or something and started to rub her stomach..
i waited for awhile then decided to do the bravest thing..

i leaned over to the other side of train, (which isnt very far) then use my hands and signalled the woman who was using her handphone and asked if she could give up her seat for the pregnant lady..

then she got up and the pregnant lady got a place to sit!!!
she looked very shocked when i motioned her to sit down at the newly available seat.. haha. and she was very thankful..

i cant say how much joy i felt because i did something good.. best thing? i was wearing my Christian-shirt which said in the front
"GET CONNECTED"
and had the cross below.. and at the back it said
"Jesus Answered, "I am the way the truth and the life. no one comes to the Father except through me."
i hope she sees it!

then when we alighted, she caught my eye and thanked me again with a big smile on her face..

when i went home and sat down, the thought of making someone's day just made me smile.. then i thought again, i wonder if she hoped that her child would be this nice too when he or she grows up, and i wondered too, if she would think that my parents and religion had taught me well..
i just wonder.. see, i am the sort of person who would look at someone and look at the way he or she does things and then wonder if his or her parents and religion had made him or her this way.. i dont know why i do that but it's like, it just happens.. weird i know.. haha!!! oh wells.. i dont want that to change anyway.. haha..
alrights.. leaving the house soon again, meeting changmei for some concert thing her friend made her go and she had to ask me along.. i think the person who asked her along is a guy.. haha!!! i dont know what's the concert about but oh wells.. haha.. eek! later i play gooseberry then i'd feel so bad!!! haha!!!
okay okay..
meeting the birthday girl aka MINN DARLING for shopping tomorrow at imm.. haha!!!
