i just realised, i had something to blog about yesterday.
while having lunch with my colleagues, one of them being a mother of 2 boys, i realised, how much it means to my mum that the house is neat and clean.
then it struck me today, that i should help with some stuff at home.
they were talking about how pampered we singaporeans are.. having lifts and escalators and all the things that we take for granted.
then they talked about going home to a messy home and how irritated they feel when her kids dont clean up after themselves, keeping their toys and all.
then my other colleague, wendy from philippines said something that made my brain's motor run on full speed.
"home is where you go to after work to relax and to enjoy. then it's so messy, how to relax?!"

hence, i woke up today, decided not to go to school to look for the girls and stayed home, cleaned shawn's room and helped mum iron the basket of clothes..
and i could tell she appreciated me cleaning up shawn's room and doing the ironing.
she even said "thank you"

maybe next week, i'll clean up their closets. mum's, shawn's and dad's.. it's very messy. haha.. not to my liking.. and since i'm the one doing the ironing, i'm going to make sure i can find space to put their clothes in.

i think i'm going to try my best, to do more housework on my off days.. and if i can, cook dinner when i come home..
i miss mum's cooking.. she has been a little lazy & busy these few weeks.

and at the same time, lose a little weight.. i want to be able to fit into my favourite faded jeans..

alrights.. i dont think i have anything else that i want to say for now..
my brain feels like mush.. haha..
