here's the group photos that we took at the places we went. the 1st picture is at the exhibition level below the revolving top.. so it's the fake tuktuk.. then the 2nd one is also at the same place but a different photo-taking area. then the 3rd one is on the revolving top. the first photo on the second row is outside the marble palace built by the 5th king. think it was king chulalongkorn.. according to the guide, this is the king featured in the famous show/movie "anna and the king" or "the king and i" i cant remember which one.. but the plot of both movies seems so similar. so yep. the 5th one is at the lobby of our hotel which we took on the last day. quite an nice shot isnt it? then the last one was taken on the airasia plane when we landed in singapore.. bad lighting because of my phone's camera.. but boy was it fun.. we had such a weird experience on the plane with 4 other men looking at us practically the entire time.. should have asked yensoon to make googly eyes at them.. HAHA!!! the worst senario would be that the men are also gay and minn would have to share yensoon with them. HAHA!!! what a funny senario. haha!!!

and here's the funny pictures.. i dont dare put minn's pictures up in case she kills me so it's just mine for now. the toilet pictures are seriously amusing.. its actually the symbol of the ladies and the gents for the hotel.. its super cute wouldnt you agree?! definitely the first time i've seen such symbols. then there's the pictures of me wearing the topman blazer i got for my brother.. minn and alicia says i look like some evil boss..

here are the pictures of my loot on the night i came back and emptied my luggages.. i overshot the limit by 1kg and thank goodness it wasnt counted. phew! looks quite alot doesnt it?! and it honestly is quite alot. HAHA!!! the last picture for this blog post will show you nearly everything i got. a couple of items i didnt take pictures because i was just too lazy to go take pictures.. but they're just food items. HAHA!!! the pretz ham & cheese is seriously good!

AH HAH! my loot!!! i'm excited just looking at it.. HAHA!!! the pictures are pretty self-explanatory so i'll just leave you guys to ogle and drool at my new possessions.. HAHA!!!

so the places that we went were mostly the cheap and popular shopping areas such as chatuchak, suanlum night bazaar and other places that i cant remember. HAHA!!! i'm never good with names. but if you bring me a map, i think i can remember. HAHA!!!

so we got pretty good deals other than the belts that we all got cheated of. the darn guy. but everything there is so fun to shop since we got to look around and listen to thailand uncles talk about cheap and good seafood. i personally think they have fetishes for seafood.. all the taxi uncles who talked to us asked if we had seafood and when we said we didnt, they'd start recommending us to this place and that.. it's super funny. and the 1st uncle. haha!!! minn got to talk to his son who was studying in the local university and has plans to study in our local university (national university of singapore). according to minn, the son starting introducing himself as if he was used to answering calls from the passengers his dad ferried around.. haha!!! monotonous and all.. the uncle also started "selling" his son by saying his son was "tall" and "handsome".. it's was so amusing.. seriously! and he kept saying

"CHEAP CHEAP"

in a really high tone.. yes, he repeated himself twice everytime he said something was cheap. it sounded more like

"CHIP CHIP"

haha!!! or like the twit sounds a bird makes.. HAHA!!! the uncle is seriously cute.. we girls were giggling the entire time from the airport to the hotel.. HAHA!!

OH!!! THE HOTEL!!! we went to stay at baiyoke boutique and we were met by really strong bellboys who looked really nice..

they carried our luggages into the lobby and then at the check-in counter, i saw this guy.. my goodness! i wanted to bring him home. and the other day, at the hotel's cafe, the waiter was honestly goodlooking. except that minn said he had a horse face.

HAHA!!! but he's seriously goodlooking!!! i was quite tempted to make googly eyes at him. HAHA!!! so cute, so cute..

so so.. the receptionist was really cute also (it's a she so its not the guy-cute kind of cute).. she does remind me a bit of daphne though. HAHA!!!

other experiences i had was taking the tuktuk.. it wasnt as scary as the tv shows make them out to be but it was indeed fast.. haha!!! took it twice and my white tee became a light shade of grey at the end of the day.. but boy was the morning cold there.. fun fun fun!!!

took their train service too, both the underground and the sky train. they are actually quite modern in contrast to what most people have in mind.. and they are super courteous, queuing up to enter the train and letting others out first.. i got a serious cultural shock.. no one was out of line!!! and the entry gantry uses a token to tap instead of a card, the way we do in singapore.. so that was quite an interestin fact for me. HAHA!!! we were looking for a hole to drop the coin and found out it was actually tapping.. the dropping of the token was only done at the exit gantry. i wanted to bring one home but it was quite useless if you think about it. HAHA!!

so, we tried everything except their buses.. dont think i'll be able to figure out how those work. haha!!! one day!!!

and we went to a "zoo" and watched the snake show that was seriously entertaining.. playing around with snakes and slapping them on the back of their head.. i didnt take loads of photos but i have short films! i'm just going to figure out how to get them onto facebook so alicia can grab them off..

anyways! i'll talk more about my trip soon because i have tons to do before school starts the week after next.. projects to complete!!! my goodness. i want a longer holiday! haha!! alrights!!! i shall explore my facebook account more sometime soon too. loves!
