so i spent the day at home ironing clothes and.. well, nothing else. big load of clothes. but then again, could be because i woke up 1200 in the afternoon. haha!!

so, dad initially was willing to bring me to the rowenta customer service centre to repair the old oven. but after i called to enquire if they still do repairs for the UBER old model, they said most of the spare parts are already obselete. so, might as well get a new one since they'll charge us for the "consultation"..

which also means, i'm going to be able to bake soon!!! now the cook books will come to good use..

ANYWAYS!!! here are pictures from yesterday!

buddy brought me for desserts and a quick dinner at swensens at marina square.. free desserts, courtesy of her mum's insurance agent. super fun. didnt get alot of choices since it was free.. but it was good!!! had chicken ham and mushroom omelete and it was so filling!!! the ice creams were the usual, nothing special to talk about. haha!!

so we talked and laughed and joked.. always fun with the buddy.

so saturday was super fun at xiaolong's 21st birthday.
as usual, met the girls (frances, peggy and shuwei) at yiochukang mrt and enshao picked us up from there.. we made peggy sit in front with him and she was so scared the entire time.. enshao joked so much about it.. haha!!! frances was nodding off during the periods of slow driving and she immediately sat up straight when he was speeding.. haha!!! frances lives off adrenaline, literally..

so when we got there, we realised the entire chalet area was so fully booked with tons of other people celebrating birthdays.. haha!!

and it wasnt until the cutting of the cake that we realised how big his circle of friends were.. everyone was looking towards our chalet as we sung the birthday song.. it was seriously a sight. oh! the funny thing happened when everyone was standing, looking at xiaolong and he said

"dont stand so far leh! like looking at animal like that!"

HAHA!!

I LAUGHED LIKE MAD!!!

ooh.. i feel the chilly winds.. and my fingers are all cold. haha!!!

anyways, that made me think of what i wanted to do for my birthday next year!

i told peggy i'll book a ballroom, everyone wears really nicely and we'll all sit on the floor and eat oldchangkee.

haha!!! in case some of you guys dont know what oldchangkee sells, they are mainly finger food like curry puffs, fishballs and chicken nuggets. haha!!

and the girls replied, saying for my present, they'll buy me oldchangkee vouchers. haha!!! absolute madness!!!

then again, i just might have it at home or not have it at all... who knows!

and speaking of birthday, minn and ting still owes me mine!!!

haha!!! anyways, will be a busy woman in the week ahead, lots of meet-ups with friends.. phew! thank goodness for organisers!

oh!!! i took picture of dad's clothes that i ironed today!

look at how neat it is!!! it's nearly perfectly aligned at the centre!!! super happy. i'm a pro!

i always have problems making sure that it's aligned properly and i get really upset if it doesnt look neat. a little obsessive compulsive disorder but its erm, not all that bad? haha!!!

everything must be paired and even. my files arranged to be flat on the top so its 1 binder on the left, the other on the right, so on and so forth.. i think it's good ocd in a way, that most of my things are neat. haha!!!

once i've gotten down to cleaning up most of my things, then i'll take pictures for you guys to ogle at. haha!!!

alrights! i've got to go make decisions for my thailand trip. i hope nothing goes wrong!
